We are living in one of the most exciting periods in American history. Not since the Civil Rights movement of the 1960’s have Americans been so captivated with national politics.  I intend to provide a basis for  intelligent discourse about the social, economic, and political events, on local, state, and the national level. We will cover currrent and past issues and  decisions made by our politicans from both parties and the resulting impact on Americans and specifically Black Americans.  The facts are surprising! President Johnson was not a great civil rights convert, and President Eisenhower signed the first civl rights bills since Reconstruction. President Nixon created the concept of “Affirmative Action” these are just the beginning of factual tidbits for starters on The Other Side.
